Cloud Printing und Druckertreiber<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Druckertreiber machen Admins immer wieder \u00c4rger, sei es, weil sie untereinander nicht kompatibel sind oder sie auf verschiedenen Ger\u00e4ten aktualisiert werden m\u00fcssen. Auch beim Drucken vom Azure Virtual Desktop oder Cloud Printing ist der Umgang mit Druckertreibern anspruchsvoll. Deshalb befreit ezeep mit seinem Cloud-Rendering-Feature<\/a>, das den Druckjob vollst\u00e4ndig in der Cloud aufbereitet, Administratoren von der Last der Druckertreiberverwaltung. Damit m\u00fcssen auf der Azure-Virtual-Desktop-Instanz keinerlei Druckertreiber installiert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beim Cloud Printing mit ezeep wurde bislang automatisch und ausschlie\u00dflich ezeeps virtueller Druckertreiber, das ThinPrint Output Gateway, verwendet. Dank diesem Druckertreiber k\u00f6nnen beim Azure Virtual Desktop Drucken fast alle<\/em> Druckerfunktionen unabh\u00e4ngig vom Druckermodell und Hersteller genutzt werden. Unser Anspruch ist es jedoch, wirklich alle Druckerfunktionen bereitzustellen. Deshalb unterst\u00fctzt ezeep nun zus\u00e4tzlich native Druckertreiber beim Cloud Printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum auch native Druckertreiber beim Cloud Printing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Native Druckertreiber bzw. Originaldruckertreiber sind f\u00fcr all jene Szenarien gedacht, bei denen auf sehr spezielle Drucker mit individuellen Druck-Optionen gedruckt werden soll, wie z.B. beim Label Printing<\/strong>. Deshalb bietet ezeep jetzt die M\u00f6glichkeit, vom Azure Virtual Desktop auch auf Spezialdrucker wie Etikettendrucker zu drucken. Damit eignet sich ezeep Blue<\/a> f\u00fcr komplexe Druckinfrastrukturen und heterogene Druckerflotten mit Spezialger\u00e4ten aller Art. Ganz nach Bedarf kann wahlweise per virtuellem oder nativem Druckertreiber gedruckt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie funktioniert Cloud Printing mit nativen Druckertreibern?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Der Admin muss nichts weiter tun, als die gew\u00fcnschten nativen Druckertreiber mit den ben\u00f6tigten Spezialfunktionen auf der Azure-Virtual-Desktop-Instanz zu installieren. Es sind keine weiteren Konfigurationen notwendig. Beim Anlegen eines Druckerobjekts pr\u00fcft ezeep Blue die installierten Treiber und vergleicht den Namen mit dem Treibernamen auf dem Druckserver oder dem Modellnamen auf dem ezeep Hub<\/a>. Stimmt der Name \u00fcberein, wird der Originaltreiber verwendet. Andernfalls wird wie gehabt \u00fcber den universellen Treiber gedruckt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und wie gestaltet sich Cloud Printing mit nativen Druckertreibern f\u00fcr den Anwender? M\u00f6chten Benutzer auf einen Drucker mit ganz speziellen Eigenschaften drucken, w\u00e4hlen sie diesen wie gewohnt in der Druckerliste aus. Oder der Anwender sucht den Drucker ganz einfach im Printer Self Service und kann hier per Klick den speziellen Label Printer zu seinem Standarddrucker machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
