Es wird eine geplante Ausfallzeit von ezeep Blue am Montag, den 22. April um 10:00 Uhr CEST geben. Dies wird nur den Berichtsdienst betreffen. Drucken und alle anderen Dienste funktionieren während der Ausfallzeit.

Du kannst die Verfügbarkeit des Dienstes in Echtzeit auf ezeep Status überprüfen.

Mit den Druckerprofilen von ezeep Blue kannst du blitzschnell verschiedene Druckeinstellungen für denselben Drucker und für verschiedene Benutzer konfigurieren.

Neue Funktion: Rechnungscodes

Du kannst jetzt spezifischen Benutzern im ezeep Admin-Portal Rechnungscodes hinzufügen. Diese praktische Funktion ist besonders nützlich für jede Organisation, die die Mitgliederabrechnung in Coworking-Spaces optimieren möchte.

Wenn mehrere Mitglieder zum gleichen Mieter gehören, kannst du mit den Rechnungscodes alle Druckaufträge dieser Mitglieder markieren und dem Mieter eine Gesamtrechnung stellen, anstatt jedes Mitglied separat abzurechnen.

Webhook-Unterstützung

Rechnungscodes werden auch via Webhook übermittelt, um die Buchhaltung über Drittanbieterlösungen zu ermöglichen.

Neue Druck-App für macOS

Mit unserer neuesten Druck-App ist das Drucken von macOS Sonoma zuverlässiger und schneller für größere Dokumente. Die neue Druck-App steht im Bereich Apps und Downloads im ezeep Blue Admin-/Benutzerportal zum Download bereit.

Neue Möglichkeiten mit der ezeep API

Die Druck-API hat in dieser Version einige Updates erhalten. Zum einen können jetzt Seitenbereiche für Office-Dokumente und PDF an die Druck-API übergeben werden, sodass nicht das gesamte Dokument gedruckt werden muss, wenn dies nicht erforderlich ist. Ein Update für ezeep.js/Print Now, das dies ebenfalls implementiert, wird in Kürze erscheinen. Außerdem werden jetzt Papierfächer für das Drucken über die API verfügbar sein.

Diese Version enthält auch die Partner-API des Druckdienstes, was bedeutet, dass Sie nun Benutzer & Gruppen Druckern zuweisen, Benutzer Gruppen zuweisen, Gruppen erstellen und Richtlinien festlegen können.

Bugfixes und Leistungsverbesserungen

Fehlerbehebungen

Einige Fehler bei „Sofort drucken“ wurden behoben, bei denen die Papiergröße fehlte oder Drucker in „Sofort drucken“ nicht angezeigt wurden, wenn einem Nutzer mehr als 100 Drucker zugewiesen waren.

Email verification mandatory for new organizations

Feature Update: ezeep admins now have seven days to verify their email address if they created a new organization and did not use a social login provider.

Email domain reservations available for simplified user onboarding

Feature Update: Organization admins can reserve their email domain. Any user signing in via Google using that email domain will automatically be added to that organization. Sending and accepting invitations is not necessary.

ezeep Connector for Print Server 2.1.23 improves default setting handling

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue Connector: ezeep Connector for Print Server (v 2.1.23) improves the handling of the default setting changes. With this version, admins can change default settings on printer queues on the print server and users will see these default settings applied to their printers when using the ezeep Print App (Windows). Should the user already have changed default settings on their own, the print server defaults are being ignored.

Improved print stability

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue backend: This hotfix resolves stability issues when printing by improving the communication pipeline between several microservices.

ezeep Connector for Windows and ezeep Connector for Print Server are using the default browser during the login

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue Connector: We released new versions of the ezeep Connector for Windows (2.1.18) and the ezeep Connector for Print Server (2.1.20). Both are now using the default browser instead of Internet Explorer to have users sign in. The new versions are available for download from the ezeep website.

Improved Connector download representation in the Admin portal

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue frontend: This deployment improves the quick start page by making it easier for the ezeep admin to decide which ezeep Connector to download.

New version of the ezeep Blue Chrome Extension

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue Print App for Chrome: A new version of the ezeep Blue Chrome Extension is available via the Chrome Extension store (version 2.0.29). It fixes a problem with paper size selection with the Xerox Global PCL6 driver.

Printer driver selection hidden for Windows-based printers

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue backend: Printer driver selection is only necessary when the printer comes from the ezeep Hub appliance. With this deployment, we are hiding in the Admin portal the option to choose a printer driver for printers from Windows-based Connectors.

Print App for Windows does not use Internet Explorer for login anymore

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue Print Apps: We released ezeep Print App (Windows) version is 2.2.5. With this update, we are not relying on IE for logging in anymore. Unless a user is logging in to ezeep on a remote desktop, the default browser of the user is used.

Improved presentation of US states and Canadian provinces during signup

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue frontend: US states and Canadian provinces are shown correctly in the drop-down menu during the signup process for a new ezeep Blue organization.

Maintenance Update ezeep Blue frontend: We addressed bugs with group assignments, group searches, and a layout issue with the organization switch component in the Admin portal. Also, we added the ability for admins to remove Azure AD groups from their ezeep organization.

Multi-tenant management added to admin portal

Feature Update: ezeep admins who are managing several organizations can simply switch between them by selecting their organization name and selecting another one. Thanks to multitenancy, Managed Service Providers can easily manage and switch between ezeep customers.

Import of Azure AD groups added to the admin portal.

Feature Update: Azure AD groups can be imported directly from the Add group button in Users & Groups. This increases the usability for Azure AD-connected ezeep organizations.

ezeep for Azure becomes ezeep Blue

A few weeks ago, we introduced ezeep groups and the ability to invite users by email address. We are now working on creating an ezeep organization without Microsoft Azure. We will release multiple apps in the upcoming weeks that will be attractive to companies that have nothing to do with Azure. That’s why we decided to rename our service ezeep for Azure to ezeep Blue. This is an intermediary step to reach our goal to merge our three cloud printing platforms into one platform under the name ezeep.
