Commerce Village is a coworking community located in a beautifully renovated former mail sorting facility. Our floor overlooks an active railyard and our members enjoy watching trains carrying cargo from people to wind turbine blades. Our space has been open for 2 years and has seen success as Omaha’s first coworking space. We offer 12 private office suites, 50+ coworking desks and 2 shared conference rooms. Our members love our onsite fitness center and outside patio space. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and industries, many of whom are new to Omaha – we love helping new members get plugged into our city and all it offer.

Challenges

Printing was a huge pain point when we opened. We intended to charge our members a modest per page price for printing however soon realized there was no viable way to manage access to the printer let alone collect payments. As part of a larger goal to settle on a coworking software management platform, we knew that we needed a solution to our printing issue.

Our members are printing from a variety of equipment and operating systems and it took a lot of time and hassle to download drivers, connect to the correct wifi network, update settings, etc. in order to get connected to the printer.

Our members want a simple, seamless printing interface that does not add any extra steps to their day. They want high quality prints without having to worry about how to connect to the printer.

Solution
